Beltane and its relation with fire and Friday with Venus

Tomorrow Beltane, a Pagan celebration for the "Fires of Bel". This festivity celebrates the beginning of Summer, the beginning of the cycle of fertility i.e. prosperity, good fortune. I wish you all great vibes but today is special day, it is Friday! A holy day for Muslims but also a day dedicated to Freya, a Pagan Nordic Goddess of Fertility and love. Freya is a counterpart of the Greek Goddess Aphrodite, the Roman Goddess Venus. Freya is also connected to the ancient Semite Goddess Astarte, the Sumerian Inanna and Ishtar, the timorous Assyrian & Babylonian Goddess of love and War, Ishtar. Great ancient civilizations united under similar ideas, interesting, isn't it?
Well, today is Friday...

New Moon, good vibes...

Under the Icelandic ashes I decided to create this Philosophical cyber space to help pupils (and anyone) who seeks cultivate wisdom and knowledge (sophia). Nothing is better than the idea of a big garden, a Garden of Epicurus, a place where is possible to share this wisdom with "philia" (greek word for friendship). More about Epicurus here and his garden
To Jacqueline, a great friend and also a great Philosopher.
